Maps

Many of the maps are large, exstensive, and vary from game to game. Here is a map from the original game in its entirety

Summary

The main character himself is a man (sometimes child, maybe young adult?) named Link. Link is a consistance character throughout the series, being reborn as a different person with the same name and similiar goals each time. In order for Ganon to succeed and control Hyrule, he must possess the Triforce, an object of immense power and destruction.

The Triforce

The first piece, the Triforce of Power, belongs to Ganon, who clearly cannot deal with only having one. The Gerudo King, Ganondorf, tricks Link into opening the Sacred Realm where he steals the Triforce. However, to maintain it, you need to be balanced in the three parts.
